Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner Needed for FastCare Clinic

Description: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant utilizes the nursing/medical process to meet the health care needs of patients. The nurse practitioner's or physician assistant's practice is based on established standards of care, and is supervised by the designated physician. The nurse practitioner or physician assistant promotes teamwork among co-workers and adheres to guest relation principles. The nurse practitioner reports to the clinic director and to the designated physician.
NP Qualifications: Current license to practice registered professional nursing in the State of Illinois.Certification as a nurse practitioner by a national certifying agency. Current CPR certification as staffing needs require. Membership in MGMA desirable. Current CME credits. Two years of nursing experience in a related field. Previous physician office experience preferred. Ability to work in an automated environment required.
PA Qualifications: Current license to practice in the State of Illinois. Certification as a Physician Assistant by a national certifying agency. Current CPR certificaiton as staffing needs require. Membership in AAPA desirable. Current CME credits. Completion of an approved Physician Assistant training program. Two years of experience in a related field, Physician Assisant preferred. Previous physician office experience preferred.
