Responsibilities include assisting primary care physicians in the diagnostic and therapeutic management of patients by performing a variety of medical or surgical tasks, obtaining complete medical history data for patients and performing physical examinations. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Health Care Science or equivalent, possession of a current certificate as a Certified Physician Assistant issued by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and one year experience as a Physician's Assistant in a Bone Marrow Transplant Program or recent In & Out Patient Oncology work experience. Texas licensed and CPR required. Advanced Practice Nurse must have Bone Marrow or Oncology work history and must be Texas licensed and CPR certified.
