Orthopaedic group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. The PA will work directly with an orthopaedic surgeon
that handles a strong amount of total joint cases and general. The position is approximately 75% clinic and the
balance is in the OR. Experienced Ortho PA will have their own patient base! The position consists of patient
evaluations, surgical first assist, fracture reductions, casting and splinting, injections, rounding, writing scripts and
reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. They are located in a very modern facility that has EMR,
X-Ray, MRI and PT. Call schedule is to be worked out. The position is a four day work week of 40 hours per
week, plus a call schedule.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, hard working and able to work well with others in a
team-oriented environment. Previous orthopaedic/surgical experience preferred, but will train the right person.
