Over 30k visits annually to our ED. 3- 12 hour shifts or 4- 9 hour shifts
Position Objective
The Physician Assistant (PA) credentialed to work in the Emergency Department will initiate and perform activities in a manner which will
extend the services of the Emergency Physician and/or the attending physician caring for emergency patients. In all cases, the PA will act
in accordance with their educational level and experience under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency or attending
physician responsible for the patient.
Patient Population Served
The PA is expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical ability, intellectual
development, psychosocial, education and safety needs of all classes of patients including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and
geriatric patient. Position Qualifications
1. Licensed in the State of New Hampshire as a Physician Assistant. One year experience as a PA required..

The Inpatient Non-Physician Provider (INPP) functions in an expanded nursing role, through the application of advanced knowledge and skills
to provide inpatient healthcare to patients and their families. The INPP functions in a collegial and collaborative relationship with
attending physicians, providers and all members of the healthcare team in the delivery of inpatient health services.
Patient Population Served:
The INPP is expected to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on the physical ability, intellectual
development, psychosocial status, education, and safety of the pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient.
Supervision:
By rounding Internal Medicine and Hospitalist inpatient physicians and by Medical Director for annual review. Designated supervision required
for PA licensure.
Position Qualifications:
Graduate of an Accredited PA/NP Program.
Current licensure and certification required by the State of New Hampshire to practice as an APRN/PA. (with specialty certification in
appropriate area). ACLS/PALS Certification.
Fast paced environment with multiple, often conflicting priorities. Must be able to utilize standard instrumentation and equipment
normally found in a hospital setting.

Full-time, various shifts w/call. Working in our ICU/CVICU to support the Pulmonary/Critical Care Attendings in the management of ICU level
patients. Need to be skilled in Arterial Line Insertion. Would be great to have 3-5 years in a mixed Intensive Care Unit setting, with
Medical and Surgical cases. No peds. DEA & CPR required.
- Average cases per day: 12 patients per day average
- Attending Physicians: Three physicians rotate schedule. Locum would cover the Intensivist’s patients
- Types of procedures: PICC placement, intubation, central line insertion, arterial line insertion
- Shifts: For Locum: generally 7pm – 7A. Will work closely with the attending on duty
- Experience: minimum 3-5 years in a mixed Intensive Care Unit setting, with Medical and Surgical Cases
- Location: ICU/CVICU to support the Pulmonary/Critical Care attendings in the management of ICU level patients

Caring for outpatient observation patients. 10 beds – 4 semi private and 2 private rooms. These are patients who require further work up
and testing to determine whether they can be diagnosed and discharged home after approximately 23 hours or admitted to the hospital as full
inpatient status. Previous hospital experience, strong assessment and good customer service skills. Must enjoy a fast paced environment
with rapid turnover of patients.
