PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT FOR NEPHROLOGY
Gould Medical Group, a Sutter Health affiliate, is seeking a Physician Assistant for its Nephrology department in Modesto, California. The position is responsible for clinical oversight, medical management, performing diagnostic assessments, prescribing medication, ordering diagnostic testing, performing procedures, and ordering physical and other therapies. The Physician Assistant will provide education and support to patients and families, and recommend and perform appropriate preventive measures to maintain health.
Duties may include rounding on inpatient facilities on an as-needed basis. After-hour and weekend responsibilities are required. Travel to the surrounding communities and in the local area to outlying Care Centers and Dialysis centers will be required. Attendance at arranged meetings and events will also entail some evening or weekend involvement.

to the growth of the service a well respected Orthopaedic Practice has
an immediate opening for an Orthopaedic Physician Assistant.
As part
of a team of two Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Physician Assistant will
provide comprehensive diagnosis, non-surgical and surgical management
of musculoskeletal diseases and injuries. Typical surgeries
performed
by the Orthopaedist include total hip and knee replacements,
arthroscopic procedures of the knee (ACL tear/repair, meniscus), and
rotator cuff repair. The Physician Assistant will spend
approximately
75% of his/her time in clinic and 25% in surgery. A minimum

PA/NP – OrthopaedicsWell-established Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks a fulltime Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner. This Doctor has a high volume of upper extremity cases! This position includes both the Clinic and the OR.

Physician Assistant – Orthopaedic (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)!
Orthopaedic Surgeon with a spine specialty seeks to add a fulltime Orthopaedic Physician Assistant. The new PA will work directly with this Doctor. The position includes both the OR and the Clinic. This Doctor handles a strong volume of spine, some total joint and fracture care. This group has their own state-of-the-art PT/OT Center. They also conduct some clinical trials and are fully digital. The PA will see their own patient load.
Responsibilities include: patient evaluations, first assists, injections, fracture reductions, provide post and pre-operative care, some rounds, casting and splinting, ordering tests, patient education and writing prescriptions. There are minimal weekends and little call! Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and work well in a very fast-paced office environment. Orthopaedic PA experience is required. The group prefers candidates that have ties to the area.
The practice is located in the Raleigh/Durham area. The location is in a great metro area that provides several major universities, culture, international airport, moderate climate, reasonable cost of living and offers great quality of life. The area also offers easy access to lakes, a lot of great golf courses and nearby hunting and fishing.
Compensation: Base salary range: open, plus bonus potential. In addition, the new PA will be compensated extra for any call or rounding. TENNESSEE (Knoxville)
Physician Assistant – Orthopaedic (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)!
Orthopaedic Group seeks a full time NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant. The PA will work in a very busy general clinic based orthopaedic practice. If desired, there can be some OR time. The PA will rotate within an Orthopaedic Urgent Care Center. The new PA will run their own clinic.
The PA will focus on handling a wide range of orthopaedic cases which includes sports (knee and shoulders), total joints, fracture care and general cases. Responsibilities include: patient evaluation, surgical first assist, fracture reductions, joint injections, running a clinic, office procedures, pre and post H&P’s, minimal rounds, writing scripts, ordering and reviewing tests, coordinate with Physical Therapists, consultation and patient education and reviewing lab results. The position is a total of a four day work week (36 hours per week) which includes Saturday (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
The group requires that candidates have orthopaedics experience. They will consider an ER PA that handles a good percentage of orthopaedic cases. The location is in a beautiful suburb of Knoxville. Knoxville is the center of business activities, several major universities, major international airport and has many cultural opportunities available. The area provides affordability, moderate climate, solid schools and a lot of outdoor activities. Also, there is no state income tax.

Responsibilities
The founding Program Director will direct the development and accreditation of Chapman's new Physician's Assistant Program, including establishing the curriculum, leading the search process for the hiring of new faculty members, hiring a medical director, and collaborating in the planning, design and construction of a new space for the PAE program that includes offices, classrooms, laboratories and related spaces. The 166,000 square foot space will house the Physician Assistant Program, along with the Chapman-KGI School of Bio-Pharmacy, Chapman's existing highly ranked Physical Therapy Doctoral Program, and other graduate programs in clinical health sciences. The PA Program Director will direct the accreditation process in accord with the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks dynamic applicants for two (2) full-time academic faculty positions (12 month appointments) for its Physician Assistant Program. Candidates must have a master’s degree; a doctorate degree is desirable. The successful candidate will be a certified physician assistant with current licensure or eligibility for licensure within Wisconsin. The candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative style to complement a team environment, and have a minimum of two years clinical practice. These positions include a 20% clinical practice component to be determined at time of hire. These are academic staff positions, with assignments based on candidate credentials. PA teaching experience is strongly preferred; teaching experience of any type is preferred.

The Physician Assistant Program at Lynchburg College invites applicants for the position of Program Director and Department Chair. The program director and department chair of the physician assistant program will be an individual capable of implementing a strong program that also reflects the mission of Lynchburg College. This individual will have responsibility for leading the development of the curriculum, the hiring of faculty, the development and monitoring of the program budget, and the preparation necessary for program accreditation while supporting those individuals with responsibility for student recruitment and admissions and clinical education. S/he will report to the Dean of Graduate Studies.
The program director and chair must meet ARC-AP Standards for the position and consequently must be a certified physician assistant with appropriate graduate-level training. Individuals should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a physician assistant as well as experience relevant to educational settings with particular emphasis on medical education. Previous work in the development of Physician Assistant programs is highly desirable as is experience with the ARC-PA accreditation process. Lynchburg College is particularly interested in an individual who has a commitment to collaborative work and has clinical expertise, demonstrated ability in management and leadership, teaching experience, and familiarity with PA programs in terms of planning and finance. Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the College.
This position will be a 12-month, tenure track appointment. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with prior experience and professional and academic qualifications.
Note: Lynchburg College has applied for provisional accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The College anticipates matriculating its first class in June 2015, pending provisional accreditation in March 2015. Provisional accreditation is an accreditation status for a new PA program that has not yet enrolled students, but at the time of its comprehensive accreditation review, has demonstrated its preparedness to initiate a program in accordance with the accreditation standards.

non-clinic days monitor treatment, labs, and follow-up, as well as special projects. The office hours are 8am-4:30pm and for this role there is an
on-call requirement. If selected for the inpatient position, the duties include pre-rounding reviews with the overnight Resident/Fellow, reviewing labs on patients scheduled for procedures, follow-up on acute inpatient issues and monitoring patient response to treatment. The hours are 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday and there is no call.
In this Rochester, NY, hospital-affiliated position you will co-ordinate care and services for complex surgical cases. Will perform pre-surgical
histories and physicals and outpatient follow-up evaluations to facilitate patient access and care. Primary responsibilities include the coordination
of care and services for all patient referrals from initial call through surgical procedure and postoperative follow-up. This includes coordination
of diagnostic testing, imaging and surgical intervention. Telephone management of patient calls and liaison work between patient and MD will be
a key part of this role. Requires certification in NYS as a Nurse Practitioner and national certification as an NP or Licensure as a Physician
Assistant with certification. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of ability to coordinate patient services, and ability to trouble-shoot issues as they arise.
