MEDEX Northwest PA Program needs temporary faculty help at its Yakima,
WA training site. We are short-handed for Spring Quarter 2011, and we
could use an experienced PA lecturer / instructor and course
coordinator, either full-time or part-time, from approximately April 1
through June 17. There are also temporary work opportunities on an
intermittent/ongoing basis throughout each academic year. We would
consider increments of as little as 4 weeks if that is all you can
work. Duties consist of general didactic responsibilities for

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a physician assistant with a terminal degree
(MSPA) and experience teaching in an accredited physician assistant
program.  Experience in coordination and/or supervision of
clinical
physician assistant education is preferred.  Current physician
assistant licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.



Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include teaching in and coordination of the
clinical year of the physician assistant program.

international service learning initiatives are available.

MSPAS program is a provisionally accredited by the Accreditation Review
Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).

program will begin the education of the first class of students in June
2011 at the newly renovated, state of the art, 55,000 sq. ft.
interdisciplinary graduate teaching and research facility. 
Opportunities also exist for continued clinical practice.

A full-time clinical coordinator is being sought for the Trevecca
Nazarene University (TNU) Physician Assistant Program. This is a 12
month non- tenure-track position with competitive salary and benefits
commensurate with qualifications. Masters degree or higher in physician
assistant studies or education with 2 years clinical and/or academic
experience required. An understanding and expression of a Christian
world-view is essential. Familiarity with Microsoft Office a plus.
Duties will entail development of student rotation schedule and
placement, establishing new sites and maintaining goodwill at existing
sites, orientation of preceptors, conduct site and student evaluations
on rotations, mentoring of students, attendance on program and
university committees, and student recruitment. Trevecca´s
program has

Technology is heavily incorporated through the entire instruction
