being organized to serve as a resource for those of us who have a professional

This mid-level provider works with the physician for all patient related
responsibilities and deals directly with medical staff members, nursing
personnel and other departments to coordinate patient care requirements.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assists the surgeon in preoperative care and workup of patients. Assists
physician in clinic and operating room. Provides ongoing comprehensive
outpatient services. Participates in postoperative care of patients. Performs
therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as directed by the physician. Examines
preoperative and follow-up patients in clinic and complete admission formalities.
Requires graduate of a CAAHEP approved physician assistant program.
Eligible/certified by the National Commission for the Certification of
Physician Assistants and eligible/certified by the State Board of Medicine
required. Must have current BLS certification and able to participate in
or have completed an approved ACLS program. Our successful candidate will
have a strong desire to work with colorectal patients and their families.
Additionally, the candidate should have excellent people skills, demonstrated
concern for the health and well-being of others, superior written and oral
communication skills, computer literacy including electronic medical record
documentation and the ability to work both as a team member and independently.

Physician Assistant: Surgical Oncology

This experienced PA-C, under surgeon responsibility and supervision,
performs diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to allow the physicians to extend
their knowledge in the sphere of decision making required to establish
a diagnosis and to plan the appropriate therapy. Assists in gathering
the data necessary to implement the diagnostic and therapeutic plan of
the physician.
Will assist Surgeons with pre and postoperative care including, but
not limited to: H&P’s, first or second assist in general surgery, participation
in rounds and the call schedule.
This self-motivated candidate must possess excellent people skills,
aspiration to work with female oncology patient population, demonstrated
written and oral communication skills, computer literacy and the ability

Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks to add a Physician Assistant.
This Doctor has a general orthopaedic practice and handles a good volume
of Foot & Ankle injuries. The PA will handle OR and Clinic.
The Doctor would train and develop a bright, ambitious and hard-working
new graduate. The location is a small town that is a 25 minute drive
to Erie. The area is very low cost of living and there are a lot
of things to do!
Compensation: Base salary range depends on experience, plus a production
based bonus plan. The bonus plan is not capped and can add significantly
to the new PA's income. Also, there are excellent benefits.
