Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Evidence of ability to function with a high degree of independence while actively collaborating with health care members providing care for highly complex pediatric patients.  Previous patient care experience or training in pediatric surgery or critical care.  Demonstrated experience in are of clinical care performing history and physical exams.  DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Experience with procedures such as performing histories and physicals and pre-operative evaluation of pediatric surgical patients, clinical follow-ups, assisting with advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures in the operating room and bedside procedures is highly desired.  Ability to work well in a team environment.  Previous operating room experience or training.
