FLORIDA (Coastal, 50 minutes to Palm Beach) Ortho Physician Assistant (Sports-oriented) Single Specialty Group of all Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons seek a fulltime Physician Assistant. The new PA will develop a Sports Program with the support of the Group's in-house marketing. The new PA will work with teams, ATC's and Sports Fellowship trained Doctors. The new PA will provide surgical first assist, casting and pins, post-op follow-up, injections, some rounds, scripts, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Previous orthopaedic experience is required. Hours: approximately 50+ hours per week, plus a call schedule to be worked out. Position is ideal for a PA with ATC or sports background. The location is in a very desirable and upscale town on the coast of Florida. The area affords reasonable cost of living, all year round outdoor activities, solid school systems and a great place to raise a family. The group prefers that the candidate has ties to the area. It would be real plus if the candidate has a Florida License. Compensation: Base salary range is $80k to $105k+.
