Emergency Camden New Jersey Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Emergency Department has 38,000 emergency visits annually and the 34 bed-ED opened in New Critical Care tower in May 2005. The ED had 31 hours of physician coverage (7 hours double coverage) and 18 hours of PA and NP coverage daily, as well as 10 hours/day of EM resident coverage. Lady of Lourdes is a 410-bed community-oriented, teaching and tertiary facility which offers a broad spectrum of patient services, including four cardiac catheterization labs, two electrophysiology labs, a new Ambulatory Care Building which houses the Osborn Family Health Center and the new outpatient dialysis unit. Our Lady of Lourdes is a major teaching affiliate of UMDNJ/School of Osteopathic Medicine and the Thomas Jefferson University EM Residents rotate through the ED.
