Large and well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will directly support an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Trauma Fellowship. The PA will be an integral part of an orthopaedic trauma team working with cutting edge technology. The trauma Doctors handle cases involving: ankle, humorous, hip, F&A & pelvic, wrist fractures, open and closed fractures of the femur and tibia, intra-articular fractures involving the knee and intra-articular fractures of the ankle. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous Orthopaedic/surgical/trauma experience not required. The new PA must be effective in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure. Of course, the PA must have excellent interpersonal skills and have a great work ethic. Rockford offers a reasonable cost of living, has universities, regional airport and provides access to Chicago. Salary depends on experience. There is a bonus that can add up to 10% plus extra pay for call coverage.
