The goal of the Institute is to restore normal pain free spinal function and mobility in the simplest and safest fashion
possible. The Institute is committed to non-operative treatment. In fact, eighty five percent of our patients are
successfully treated non-operatively. We use a comprehensive approach which includes patient education,
medications, and customized therapy programs. If surgery is required, our board certified, fellowship trained
surgeons utilize the most advanced surgical technologies and techniques available. This includes microsurgery,
discectomy, laminectomy, laser surgery, laproscopic procedures, spinal instrumentation, and state of the art fusion
techniques. Duties include history and physical examination, patient assessment, hospital rounds, performing
injections and assisting in surgery.
One-year surgery experience preferred; however they are willing to train the exceptional individual. Candidate should
be a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to excellence and a desire to learn. On the job training is
provided to enhance the practitioner’s knowledge and skills. Salary range is $60K – $90K as a base, with an
incentive after year 1 that can take you to $100,000 or higher. Depends on performance.

Three new positions at Dana-Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Care in Boston, MA is opening an Intensive
Palliative Care Unit (IPCU) at the Brigham & Women's Hospital and will be able to offer PA's a direct care, medical
management role as a member of the interdisciplinary team, and opportunities to learn from leading Palliative
Medicine specialists. Training will include work with our existing PPC consult service as well as cross-training with
the hematologic oncology units. The Intensive Palliative Care Unit (IPCU) PhysicianAssistant (PA), is responsible
for assisting the inpatient Palliative Care Program attending physicians and fellows in the medical management and
palliative care of IPCU patients and in the palliative care consult service.
In addition, PAs will provide cross-coverage care for Hematologic Oncology/Hematopoietic Stem Cell
Transplantation (HO/HCST) patients and patients admitted for elective chemotherapy. The PA is expected to
develop basic knowledge of hematologic oncology and solid tumor oncology as disease processes and to develop
expertise in palliative care modalities, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic techniques and
communication skills for working with patients with cancer and their families.
The PA will also become familiar with general internal medicine and medical complications commonly seen in our
oncology patients with palliative care needs. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are
required. Knowledge of current literature and a commitment to continued learning are also required.
Qualifications: Graduate of AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies Program. Holds NCCPA
Board certification. Licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Relocation is
available.

ARIZONA (Phoenix) Orthopaedic - Clinic Based! (EXPERIENCED
ONLY!)
Job Description Orthopaedic surgeon seeks to add a full-time physician assistant. The new PA will work directly
with a general orthopaedic surgeon. The group has physical therapy on-site. The PA would run their own
orthopaedic clinic. The new PA would see up to 30 to 40 patients per day. The new candidate needs to be a
self-starter that can hit the ground running! This PA must be able to work with minimal physician supervision. This
position is clinic based with minimal or no surgery.
Responsibilities include: H&P's, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, review lab results,
treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, casting and splinting within a clinic setting. Successful candidate
should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. None or very minimal evenings or
weekends. Previous orthopaedic PA experience required! Preference for candidates that have ties to the area! The
