Rush Family Health Care. of $52.00/hr for experienced Advanced Practice Providers $125,000.00 annual pay is easily attainable
The position is open for immediate hire. We are open to new or recent grads as well as to more experienced Advanced Practice Providers. Military trained PA Clinicians are also welcome.
Compensation is either by salary for a traditional schedule or hourly for more non-traditional schedules. $125,000.00 annual pay is easily attainable depending on background and experience. Hourly is $52/hr. We have traditionally been flexible in setting up schedules to try to accommodate personal goals. Advanced Practice Providers with specific schedule needs are encouraged to contact us.
The clinic is open from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm for patient care visits and remains open overnight for sleep studies. The clinic operates several sub clinics on site. We are currently building our workers compensation business and our DOT and drug screening business.
We also cater to over the road drivers and have a large parking lot designed to park 18 wheelers with ease. Advanced Practice Providers with an interest in these areas are encouraged to apply. We have been fully computerized with EMR for the past eight years.
The medical practice is located in the far North East Texas Region. This is a high growth region with a solid economy, plentiful jobs, great educational resources and superb recreational opportunities. Payer mix is 77% private insurance and 23% Medicare. We have small numbers of children ages 7 to 17. Ages 18 to 64 comprise about 78% and age 65 and up represent about 20%. There are plenty of patients to keep a mid-level busy.
The city is host to a four year university. Texas A & M has a brand new campus under construction North of the city. It is on a lake and surrounded by forested land. The school has special program in engineering. North East Texas has it all. Recreation, Jobs, Schools, Shopping, Churches and great access by interstate, rail and air to anywhere in America.

After a successful inaugural year for our Surgical Residency Program for Physician Assistants, The Division of Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center is excited to announce a continuation of the program for 2009. Highlights of the program include an intense 12-month postgraduate physician assistant residency program in General Surgery, CTVS, Orthopaedic Surgery and selected sub-specialties. During the final two months, the surgical subspecialty rotation is selected by the PA-C at the discretion of the Program Director. This program includes: Combined didactic and clinical curriculum; Surgical clinical experience; Elective rotations in surgical sub-specialties.
The successful candidate will perform, under surgeon's responsibility and supervision: Diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to further educate the PA-C Resident with surgical field knowledge and experience. May assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the surgeon. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range on their assigned clinical area. Major roles include, but are not limited to: Assists surgeons with pre and post operative care H&P's First and second assist surgery and demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team centered, teaching hospital. Electronic medical record usage and computer competency Participating in rounds and the call schedule. Travel as required. Acts as patient advocate in the medical care systems. Ability to recognize significant changes in patient status. Informs supervising physician of patient status changes. Maintains CME requirements, attends lecture series.
