are seeking a Family Practice / Internal Medicine Physician Assistant
interested in joining a well respected Group practice comprised of
several physicians and tenured Physician Assistants. The
Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm with one Saturday per Month
(9:00am-3:00pm). The anticipated volume would be 25-30
patients per day with physician coverage on site during clinic
hours. The patient mix would include those found in a
traditional family practice setting with a slant towards
internal medicine and chronic diseases including Diabetes, COPD, CHF

searching for an associate clinical coordinator for the Physician
Assistant (PA) Program. In coordination with the clinical coordinator,
the individual will have responsibilities to cultivate, develop,
coordinate, and maintain clinical rotation sites for PA students. This
position will require travel to clinical sites to include both
metropolitan and rural areas of Georgia. There will be occasional
out-of-state travel. The incumbent will also have responsibilities for
classroom teaching, classroom and laboratory experiences, participating
in testing and mentoring PA students and will also be actively involved
with scholarly activity, student advising, curriculum review, faculty
meetings, and College and University committees.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA
program and have a minimum of a master's degree from an accredited
university/college with a minimum of three years of full-time clinical
experience as a PA. Must have a current NCCPA certification and be
eligible for Georgia State licensure. Didactic instruction in a PA
program strongly preferred. Strong commitment to fulfill the mission of
the PA Program and the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences is
essential.
