Required Qualifications: Earned Master's degree and certification as a Physician Assistant. Licensed ( or eligible) in the state of Illinois. One year of clinical experience. Potential to develop a research program leading to successful publications in peer-reviewed literature.
Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience in problem-based learning. Two or more years of clinical experience.

University of WI-Madison Physician Assistant Program Outreach Coordinator & Community Education Coordinator
The Physician Assistant (PA) Program of the UW-Madison, School of Medicine & Public Health, Department of Family Medicine seeks certified Physician Assistants for two grant-supported part-time positions; a Community Education Coordinator and an Outreach Coordinator.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and preference will be given to graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant Program. A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in education and/or health care to rural, underserved populations is preferred. Evidence of established experience or interest in building strong community linkages is preferred. Travel is a component of these positions.
The Community Education Coordinator (PVL#60152) position will:
collaborate with institutional and community programs targeted to develop and implement rural curriculum and a rural training track support the enhancement of the community-based (distance education) training option in rural/urban and medically underserved areas; establish clinical preceptorships in rural/urban and medically underserved areas; and provide PA program and PA profession promotion and recruitment activities.
This position will be the primary liaison between community mentors, physicians, and faculty/staff associated with the community-based program; assist in planning and organizing campus visits and videoconferences with a peer staff member (Outreach Coordinator), as well as actively participate in campus activities. Position will work closely with the program's Distance Education Team in advocacy and direct learner support of the distance students from rural, underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, in creating innovative technology for on-line curriculum and in providing overall support of the clinical phase of the community-based program.

RE-POST Looking for an orthopedic PA for a busy sports/joint replacement orthopedic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California. I have been in practice for 5 years and looking to increase my surgical and clinic volume with the assistance of a motivated, well-trained PA.
