Job Description Single Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will work directly with an Orthopaedic Surgeon that has a Total Joint specialty. The Doctor handles a strong volume of total joints (using the NAV computerized system and the latest minimally invasive techniques), as well as some general ortho. The new PA will provide H&P's, surgical first assist, casting, writing scripts, rounding, patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The position will be a split between the OR and the Clinic! Office call is 1/4! Successful candidate is self-motivated, independent thinker, confident and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This group prefers an experienced Ortho PA, but will train an entry level PA. The Doctor is very easy going and enjoys developing and training a PA that is self-driven and a quick learner.
